Mountair Mile 2010

The kids participated in the Mountair Mile again this year. The Mountair Mile is a kids race where all entry fee's and donations are for the Sharing Place. The Sharing Place is a non-profit organization for grieving children who have lost loved ones.

The race is one mile. The first 3/4 of the mile is on bikes and the last 1/4 of the mile is a run. Teegan took second place in his age bracket. He was passing other kids like they were standing still. GREAT RACE TEEGAN!

In past years I have ran with the twins in the jogging stroller. This was the first year that Ryton wanted to ride his bike. I was a little worried about him making it the full mile, but he made it the entire way. He rode his bike the full mile and did not want to run the last 1/4.

And then there is Jaida, who wanted to ride in the stroller with mom.

The entire race pulled in about $3600 for the Sharing Place and it the entire race was organized by a friend and neighbor - Ben Lowry. Neil is also a volunteer and assisted with passing out flyers and also collecting money from companies.
