Teegan's Pirate Birthday Party

Teegan decided that he wanted to have a "Pirate Birthday Party" at his house for his 5th birthday. It was a costume party and just about everyone came in costume except for a few and one who came as a fairy pirate.

The party was last Saturday, August 8th and Teegan had 24 Pirate friends show up for the party. It was completely chaotic, but so much fun. All the time and effort that was put forth to prepare for this party was well worth it. The kids had a blast. We started the party off with some arts and crafts. The kids were able to decorate their own swords. Next we moved to pin the treasure chest on the map. Who knew 5 year olds were so smart. A few of them cheated and cheated good. Very cleaver!! Then we moved onto the treasure hunt, which was the hit of the party. It was very well done and they loved it. And yes, of course there was a treasure to be found (goodie bags). And then two pinata's. We have yet to have a birthday party for Teegan without a pinata. And then we ended with the standard cake and opening of presents.

Thanks to everyone who attended and made it such a great day for Teegan.

Cute pictures and looks like it was lots of fun. Wish we could have been there! Happy Birthday Teegan (we haven't forgot about you, were just a little late)
